Mandate
The CBA Saskatchewan Mid-Winter Meeting is the premier annual event for legal professionals in Saskatchewan. The two-day conference provides lawyers with the annual requirement of mandatory continuing professional development from the Law Society of Saskatchewan with 12 hours including at least 1.5 hours of Ethics/Law Practice Management. The event features an Exhibitor trade show and the presentation of the Distinguished Service Award at a dinner.
This committee:
- Coordinates the MWM presentations on substantive law topics ensuring Saskatchewan legal professionals receive the most current information from experts in the area
- Collaborates with Branch staff to finalize the schedule and ensure a positive experience for all attendees
- Meets from June until February of each year to plan for the January MWM
