Cann,-Nicholas-2016-150x150-(2).jpgNicholas Cann is a Partner at McKercher LLP in Regina. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts (History) from the University of British Columbia in 2002,  Bachelor of Laws (Distinction) from the University of Saskatchewan in 2004 and was called to the Saskatchewan Bar in 2005. He is also qualified as a mediator pursuant to the guidelines set by the Law Society of Saskatchewan.

His practice includes professional liability defence, aviation claims, construction claims, and professional discipline. Nicholas has significant experience in regulatory law, bylaw drafting, statutory interpretation, and member investigation. Nicholas also assists clients with privacy law, particularly in relation to personal health information.

He has provided pro bono legal assistance through the Regina Free Legal Clinic since 2006.  Nicholas has played an active role with the Regina Bar Association since 2004, serving as a Director and Vice-President, as well as President of the Association from 2006 - 2008.  He has acted as Treasurer and Vice-President of the Canadian Bar Association – Saskatchewan Branch and is the incoming President of the Saskatchewan Branch.
